| Research activity: | Analysis of microRNA expression and target genes on in vitro and in vivo preclinical models (cancer, diseases related to sensory systems), identification of candidate biomarkers. Analysis of datasets from Whole Exome/Genome Sequencing by application of bioinformatics pipelines and machine learning methods, for SNV/CNV identification and classification of different tumor types. Studies to identify novel genetic and epigenetic factors involved in the pathogenesis of familial breast cancer. Molecular analysis of actionable genes in solid tumors. |
